A technical director, and chemist, staff a
sophisticated in-house lab and provide rapid answers to quality
control issues. Operations are controlled by state of the art software providing operational warnings, detailed statistical data and tracability of changes throughout all processes. The lab is fully equipped to take advantage of
the latest systems of both chemical and metallurgical testing,
including an AA unit. They continually monitor tank chemistries
to ensure consistent finishing to rigid specifications. All processes
are certified by, local and national Government prime contractors.
Analytical Instrumentation:
Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer - used to assess the condition
and quality of raw materials and of finished work.
An X-ray fluorescent unit - used to analyze the thickness of
metal coatings. This equipment measures the item without destroying
its surface which is especially important when working with the
precious metals.
Testing Available:
Salt Spray Testing
Coating Weight Testing on zinc and manganese phosphate
Water Immersion Testing
Thickness Testing utilizing Eddy Mag or X-ray Fluorescent |
